Passion Pit

Eigentlich wollte der damals 20 jährige Michael Angelakos mit dem selbstproduzierten Lied “Valentine” (im Schlafzimmer aufgenommen auf seinem Laptop mit integriertem Mikrophon) seiner damaligen Freundin nur ein Geschenk machen. Nach stolzem Herumzeigen des Lieds (ob von seiner Freundin oder ihm ist nicht bekannt), fingen auch die Freunde Flamme und Michael beschloss kurzerhand eine Band zu gründen. Passion Pit war geboren. Nach einigen kleinen Aufwärme-Auftritten wurden die Jungs als Vorband von Death Cab for Cutie gebucht und erlangten blitzschnell Bekanntheit. Seither haben die fünf Freunde zwei CDs herausgebracht, die auf die Namen “Chunk of Change” (2008) und “Manners” (2010) hören und begeistern die Hipster Szene mit ihrer gefühlvollen, aufrichtigen, wiedererkennbaren und tanzbaren Musik.Danke Michael,Ian,Ayad,Jeff und Nathan!
